We calculate cost based on the time one artisan takes to complete a full garment — ensuring quality, ownership, and fair wages. Final pricing is design-dependent — we’re happy to provide estimates after reviewing your sketches or tech packs.
Design Development & Tech Packs
For designers and brands seeking technical support, Studio Camala offers assistance in transforming ideas into production-ready formats. We collaborate with experienced designers to develop tech packs, spec sheets, and measurement guides — essential tools for accurate sampling and seamless production.
Whether you need help building these from scratch or refining your existing documents, we provide guidance on fabric choices, construction details, and measurement accuracy to ensure your vision is translated clearly into every garment.
Pattern Making & Sampling
A well-made pattern is the blueprint of a great garment. It captures the designer’s vision while ensuring balance, fit, and wearability. The sampling process brings the pattern to life. Production / CMT (Cut, Make, Trim)
Production is at the heart of what we do — where designs are transformed into finished garments, ready to ship. From cutting and stitching to trimming and finishing, our team ensures every detail is executed with precision and care.
We believe in transparent manufacturing. Whether you’re across the city or across the globe, we keep you connected to the production process through WhatsApp, email, and video calls, offering real-time updates and visibility.
Fabric Sourcing
At Studio Camala, we collaborate with artisan partners across India to source organic, sustainable, and ethically made fabrics. Whether you’re looking for handwoven cottons, silks, Tencel, linen, or hemp, we help you find the perfect textiles to bring your collection to life.
We’re happy to work with fabrics sourced directly by designers or assist in discovering the right materials through our trusted network. In addition to sourcing, we offer value-added services including embroidery (in-house), and partnerships for block printing, screen printing, digital printing, and natural dyeing — helping you create conscious, beautiful garments from start to finish.
Embroidery
India is home to a rich legacy of hand embroidery techniques — from Aari and Zardozi to Kantha and beyond. At Studio Camala, our skilled artisans are trained in the intricate art of embellishment, transforming your design ideas into exquisite handcrafted details.

Labels
When we say we offer end-to-end services — we mean it. At Studio Camala, we collaborate with trusted suppliers to produce high-quality woven brand labels, size tags, and care instructions that complete your garment professionally.
Whether you need help designing your labels or already have your artwork ready, we’ll handle the production and ensure each label is stitched neatly into your garments — giving your collection its final touch of identity and polish.
Garment Tags & Primary Packaging
At Studio Camala, sustainability extends beyond garments. Staying true to our zero-waste philosophy, we repurpose all production scraps through a partnership with a social enterprise that transforms fabric waste into handmade, tree-free paper.
This recycled paper is then used to create garment tags, notebooks, and eco-friendly packaging, closing the loop and contributing to a more circular and conscious fashion ecosystem.
